Meetings

Our meetings are held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL, on the third Wednesday of every month from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. These sessions include current news in the model ship building community, kit reviews, technical and historical presentations, and a “Ships on Deck” period where members discuss their current projects, and any difficulties they may be encountering.

Guests are always welcome at our meetings. So, if you are interested in model ship building, and want to learn more about the hobby, or just want to be around other individuals who appreciate the beauty of ships, please join us at our next get-together.

Maritime Museum in Sadorus, Illinois

The presentation for July 22nd will be a video and PowerPoint showcasing a unique maritime museum that is located in Sadorus, a small town in central Illinois. The two story building is crammed with artifacts that range from personal collections to props used in actual motion pictures such as Ben Hur and Horatio Hornblower.
